My car surpassed the 100,000-mile mark last week…and I didn’t even notice.

Yeah, it’s a big deal, and I missed it. I knew it was coming, but I was out showing houses to a client. When the magical moment occurred, I wasn’t paying attention to the odometer on the dashboard; I was engaged in a conversation with my buyer. It wasn’t until I was almost home that I looked down and realized I was now officially over the six-figure mile marker.

We’ll pass another milestone this week as we turn the calendar to 2025.

We’ll celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. We’ll hopefully have the opportunity to help clients purchase their very first home or sell a house that has been in the same family for decades.

Some in our industry will celebrate their first closing, while others will reach their 100th, 200th, 500th, or some other impressive total of sales.

As you hit your own milestones this year—big or small—remember to cherish the moments in between. Life isn’t just about the odometer readings or the calendar flips; it’s about the journeys, the conversations, and the connections we make along the way.
