Oftentimes, it’s the little things that mean the most to people. This certainly applies to our clients and prospective clients. Just like coins in a jar on your dresser at home, the “little things” can really add up over time.
Think about some of the things you can do for people that will make them feel special or thankful. Things that could help reinforce that you are not only looking out for their best interests but are someone they would feel comfortable referring business to. The little things that will cause them to go out of their way to help you build your business.
- It could be as simple as remembering a birthday, wedding anniversary, or home anniversary.
- Remembering the names of children, pets, or any other personal information that would show them you listened, paid attention, or remembered something important.
- Stopping by to say hello, drop off a small token or item of value, or offer help of some sort.
- Treating someone to breakfast, coffee, lunch, or happy hour.
- You never know when a handwritten note will land in the mailbox at just the right time. The same goes for a well-timed phone call.
What are some of the “little things” that you do for your “tribe” this week?
Remember – it’s the little things that can make a big difference.
