Writing a generic description of your next listing might be easy – “Great home with bedrooms and bathrooms and walls and floors. Just wait until you see the windows and doors!!!” – but it’s probably not going to stand out to the general public and help you capture the best buyer.

Of course, there might be times when sending the same thing to everyone in your sphere, database, or farm might make sense. Market reports or objective pieces about local community events have their place but most people appreciate and pay attention to things that are relevant to them.

Some people like to read a hard-cover book, some like to read on a Kindle or tablet, while others prefer to listen on Audible. There are even a few that will skip the book and wait for the movie.
Some people want a big kitchen while others want a large yard. Some want to be able to walk while others might prefer a long commute. Marketing and exposure or simply “priced to sell”? Big brokerage or small boutique?
What are the messages you are sending? How are you delivering them? Who is the recipient of the message and how do they prefer to receive them?
Snail mail? e-Mail? Text message? Social media? Phone call? Face to face?
We all have that favorite pair of shoes, t-shirt, hat, or hoodie. It fits just right.
There are lots of ways you can build relationships, solve problems, and have fun. Better try a few on before you get too comfortable with just one.
