Monday Morning Match is a simple post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.
Gardeners Know All the Dirt
If you want to grow your own fruits and vegetables, you’re probably going to need to plant a garden.
If you’re gonna start a garden, you’re probably going to need to get your hands dirty. Once your hands are dirty, you might as well get them really dirty. Like “dirt under the fingernails and have to scrub extra” dirty.
After you plant your garden, you’re gonna need to tend it, prune it, water it, and protect it from outside forces like birds, animals, diseases, and weather.
And then you need to be good at waiting patiently for the fruits and vegetables to grow, ripen, and be ready to enjoy.
You can look at the garden from afar each day, but it’s best if you tend to it each and every day until the harvest. That way you’ll truly get to enjoy the “fruits (and vegetables) of your labors.”
Now that I think about it, if you want to grow your own business, the same advice might apply.
