Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

As you begin your week, ask yourself these questions;

  • What are you doing to stand out?
  • How are you making sure that you are earning “top of mind awareness” from your sphere of influence?
  • The next time one of your clients, personal connections, or community members thinks about real estate or knows someone who does, will they think of you?

You might not have definitive answers for these questions but, if you want to finish the year strong and position yourself for a great 2019, it might be time to start contemplating some good answers to those questions.

Look at the odds. The US population clock is constantly ticking and as of the writing of this post, there are 328,887,529 people in the country. Based on September’s numbers from the National Association of Realtors, there are 1,362,533 members around the country. That means for every Realtor, there are 241 people in the United States.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that most of those 241 people probably know of at least two Realtors if not many more than that, so that will diminish your odds even more. Some people could have more than 241 people in their database or sphere of influence but more names and contact numbers don’t ensure that they’ll be the one that come to mind. That will happen because you have demonstrated your ability to build relationships, solve problems, and have fun.

When one of your 241 wakes up tomorrow or someday in the near future and is thinking real estate, how can you make sure it’s you they are thinking of?
