Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.
When was the last time you let down your guard and had some fun? I’m talking about not worrying what others might think of you and really doing something that some people might consider crazy. Of course, I am not suggesting anything illegal or unethical, I’m just talking about doing something that you might have hesitated before you did it but when you were done you were totally pumped about it and wondering what took you so long to do it in the first place.
This weekend, I let my guard down and had some fun. I planned out, video taped* and edited my submission for the Coldwell Banker Gen Blue Lip Sync contest. Contestants were asked to submit a lip sync video up to 90 seconds long of them performing along to a popular song. At the end of the submission period, the top 10 videos will be selected by Coldwell Banker staff and then put up for a public vote. The top 3 vote-getters will be invited to perform live at the Coldwell Banker Gen Blue Experience this September in Chicago. (Stay tuned…I might be asking my loyal Carp’s Corner readers for some votes)
What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?
It’s a simple question with hundreds of answers, right? Well, that might be true unless you’re Robert James Ritchie, a small town singer from a rural area North of Detroit, Michigan. Most people know him as singer Kid Rock and as he has told people on numerous occasions in one of his best known songs, “he wants to be a Cowboy.”
But I always wondered what might happen if Kid Rock decided to go into a career in real estate?
Watch what happens when you throw your inhibitions to the wind, have some fun and answer the lifelong question – What if Kid Rock was a Realtor? Watch the video below or Click here to find out…

I hope you have a great week building relationships, solving problems and having fun…and, if all else fails, just sing along to your favorite song and quit taking yourself so damn seriously.
